A showcase event in Arlington will provide a Texas sized spotlight on IndyCar

Bill Miller left the motorsports business in 2005 but never stopped paying attention to it. Now, he’s not only back to racing, but is playing a key role in IndyCar history. The former Auto Club Speedway and Nazareth Speedway president is leading planning and construction for the Grand Prix of Arlington, set for March 2026. It will be IndyCar’s first race in the Lone Star State since 2023 at Texas Motor Speedway. View Story

It takes a village: How to build an MLB ballpark in 2025

The Battery was fully charged that first day, more than eight years ago, when the Atlanta Braves unveiled baseball's next big thing to the greater MLB world. This was April 14, 2017, the date of the Braves' first regular-season game at Truist (then SunTrust) Park. It was a perfect, 79-degree day, as 41,149 patrons turned out to see the new digs, the Braves' third home since arriving from Milwaukee in 1966. A smiling Hank Aaron waved to the fans as he made his way onto the field with the aid of a cane to deliver the first pitch. Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter were on hand. View Story
